How We Can Help You
Expert Physiotherapy Services
The physiotherapist will design a treatment plan based on your personal needs and goals. Throughout your treatment, we will work hard to help you return to all normal functional activities.
When you are ready for discharge, you will receive a personalised home exercise program to allow you to stay healthy, further enhancing your rehabilitation.
Acupuncture
When you combine acupuncture with standard physiotherapy treatments it enhances the bodies healing times and can have a dramatic impact on pain. For example, in the treatment of lower back pain, it is sometimes difficult to get to the deep structures which are causing the patients symptoms. The needles can be used to go straight to the site of pain, which means the area can be treated more thoroughly without pain and discomfort associated with other methods.
Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy is the assessment and treatment of soft tissue and joint dysfunction and pain. Massage can help restore flexibility and range of motion as well as increase overall wellness and relaxation.

Personalised Exercise Program
What is Clinical Exercise?
Clinical exercise is simply an exercise regime involving stretching and strengthening exercises. The main purpose is to reduce stiffness in the joints and or spine and to strengthen muscle groups to improve posture and function.
Clinical exercise is a process in which the physiotherapist assesses the patient’s movements and then selects special exercises to correct any areas which look dysfunctional, for example, if you have pain in your lower back when you bend forwards this could be because the muscles around the lower spine are weak and need strengthening or are tight and need stretching.
Sports Injuries
Your first appointment will be no different from the usual physiotherapy session. You will be asked specific questions related to your particular sport or even to demonstrate some movements. Your diagnosis and treatment plan will be discussed in the usual way.
Treatment is likely to involve the use of manipulation techniques within the clinic, combined with a more specific exercise-based program. The aim is to return to full physical activity.
